A child has interviewed her pet cat.
Dad Paul Duane shared on Twitter his daughter Gabi’s written interview, which she conducted with Coco, a fluffy black cat with nice eyes.
Gabi, from Dublin, Ireland, wrote her interview in a question-and-answer format. We have to assume that Coco’s responses are imaginary. Though they do appear to be based on past events.
The interview centres on establishing where Coco would like to be stroked. Or not like, as it soon becomes apparent. His head? yes. His tummy? Absolutely not.
“Gabi saw diagrams online people had drawn of where their cats like to be petted and where they don’t like it,” Paul told Mashable.
“She tried to draw her own but wasn’t satisfied with it so she did the interview instead.”
Paul added that his daughter is an aspiring writer who loves the work of J.K Rowling, among others. We reckon she’s in with a good shot.
Here’s the interview in full:
Me: Coco. Can I rub you on the head?
Me: The back?
Me: The tummy?
Me: The legs?
Me: The tail?
Coco: ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Me: The butt?
Coco: IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU?!?! THIS INTERVIEW IS OVER!!!
