So it’s fitting that Gaz Beadle ‘s newborn son, Chester, was formally introduced to his great-grandfather, this week – just days after being born.
In Geordie Shore style, the poignant moment was captured on camera, then shared to thousands of fascinated fans via Instagram.
Uploaded on Friday night, the image shows the youngster being cradled by his doting relative and namesake.
Clearly moved by it, Gary captioned the photograph: “Grandad loving the fact Chester has his name as a middle name”.
Unsurprisingly, it quickly racked-up more than 80,000 likes in just 45 minutes.
Fans were also quick to comment on the sweet snap, which provides further insight into the TV star’s new, paternal role.
Speaking of the newborn, one said: “Such tiny little and skinny legs. OMG, how cute”, while another quipped: “I can’t cope with the cuteness”.

The latest pic comes shortly after Gaz officially announced the baby’s name online.

“Chester not really sure why it kind of just came to us and we loved it… Raymond after my grandad of course… and a nice double barrel surname until we are married.”
