The product is Sunday Riley’s Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream.
I discovered it through a collaboration Sigma Beauty launched a few months back in which it created a super-cool set of six skincare brushes catered to applying different steps of your skincare routine. In addition to the gift set of brushes I received, the brand also sent me a few of Sunday Riley’s best-selling products, including Auto Correct. The purpose, I supposed, was to try out its brush newness with some of the best skincare products in the biz. As the eye cream and Sunday Riley lover that I am, I couldn’t wait to try it.
I use it every. single. morning. After cleansing, toning, and slapping on some moisturizer, I apply roughly a pea-sized amount of the cream underneath my eyes, on the outer and inner corners, and on my eyelids. Usually, I’ll use a more intensely hydrating eye cream at night since this one is specifically geared toward brightening and de-puffing—aka my morning woes. But if I’ve been looking like Billy Butcherson (ahem, the friendly zombie) in Hocus Pocus, I’ll use this at night too. After all, it’s all about preventative measures, right?
It smells like… Hmm, it’s hard to put my finger on it. Slightly fruity? A little floral? The scent is completely not overpowering, which I love, while still smelling, I don’t know… pretty? If you can imagine how luxurious cumin, marigold, watermelon, apple, Roman chamomile, and cocoa meld together, you can imagine what this dreamy eye cream smells like.
It changed my life because it’s the only eye cream that’s physically and instantaneously transformed my dark under-eye circles right before my eyes—while simultaneously de-puffing, brightening, and not clogging the super-small pores around my eyes. It’s essentially become my lifeline on both no-makeup and makeup days (I’ll pat it on pre-primer on days I’m wearing makeup), and it instantly gives me a real-life-Facetune finish.
I would give it to everyone.
You should buy it if you have dark circles, dryness, puffy morning eyes, or sensitivity issues when it comes to product formulas. It’s effective yet gentle.
