June 12 Democracy Day: Oluwo Of Iwo Not Allowed Into VIP Section Of Eagle Square



The Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, who is a pro-Buhari was today prevented from the VIP area of the Eagle Square, venue of the Democracy Day celebration in Abuja on Wednesday.
Security men positioned at the VIP entrance at the venue accused the first class monarch of possessing someone else’s invitation card.
Despite his vehement protest, he was told to move away from the entrance and kept on the red carpet for about 20 minutes as reported by Punch.
It took the intervention of policemen and organizers to ensure his entrance into the venue after which he was offered a seat on the same line where the Ooni of Ife was seated with other invited Emirs.
Meanwhile, Raidar News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had finished delivering his Democracy Day Speech at the Eagles square.
