Wales boss Ryan Giggs received a £400,000 bonus after securing qualification for Euro 2020, according to reports.
The Dragons, who were semi-finalists in France four years ago, booked their place at this summer’s tournament with a 2-0 win over Hungary in November.
It is only the third time that the country have reached the finals of a major tournament – following 1958 and 2016 – and The Sun reports that Giggs is set to be rewarded by the Welsh FA for the feat.
As one of the 24 finalists for Euro 2020, it is understood that Wales will receive £8million in prize money from UEFA.
And according to the publication, the association plans to divide two-thirds of the sum (around £5.5m) among the players and backroom staff as bonuses while also paying any National Insurance due.
It is also claimed that a further 30 per cent of the prize money will be used to cover logistical costs, such as travel and accommodation.
They are also are expecting to make a five per cent profit from the UEFA payment, which would be reinvested back into facilities and grassroots football.
Manchester United legend Giggs, who is understood to earn wages of £400,000-a-year, has spent two years in charge of the national team since succeeding Chris Coleman.
His side will start their Euro 2020 campaign in Baku after being drawn in Group A alongside Italy, Turkey and Switzerland.
After their opener against the Swiss on June 13, Wales will remain in Azerbaijan to play Turkey before travelling to Rome to face hosts Italy on 21 June.
The top two teams from each of the six groups are guaranteed to advance to the knockout rounds alongside the four best third-placed sides.
And following November’s draw, Giggs said he is hoping to emulate the success of the previous tournament, which saw Wales reach the last four under predecessor Chris Coleman.
He told BBC Sport : “We want to take our chance, just like in 2016.
“It’s not easy, you have to get the momentum like we did on France.
“You hope that come June you have a group of healthy players to choose from and if we have that we’re a match for anyone.”
