Rugby World Cup 2019 schedule: Full fixtures, TV channel listings and results


The Rugby World Cup begins on Friday as hosts Japan face Russia at the Tokyo Stadium.

England, have been entered in Pool C alongside France, Argentina, USA and Tonga and kick off their quest for glory on Sunday September 22nd against the latter.

The Six Nations Grand Slam Winners, Wales, in Pool D with two-time winners Australia, begin their bid to win their first ever Rugby World Cup, against Georgia on Monday September 22nd.

Arguably the pick of the ties in the group stages see tournament favourites New Zealand face a tough opening game against South Africa on Saturday September 21st.

Every single match will be broadcast live on either ITV or ITV4.
