Tyson Fury has been through the wringer in recent years – but one person has constantly been by his side.
The former heavyweight world champion binged on drink and drugs for more than two years as he struggled to cope after dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
But as some of his other relationships fell apart – including that with uncle and former trainer Peter Fury – Tyson’s wife Paris stuck by him.
The mother of his five children has regularly been pictured with the undefeated boxer.
Here is what we know about the woman who appears have made Fury happy…
When did they meet?
Fury has known Paris for most of his life, meeting her 18 years ago when she was just 15 when they attended a mutual friend’s wedding.
At the time she was known by her maiden name Paris Mulroy and the pair spoke briefly before going their separate ways but would be reunited a year later on a night out in Doncaster for Paris’ 16th birthday.
Paris has said: “He was my first boyfriend as I was not allowed a boyfriend until the age of 16. He is the only boyfriend I have had.
“Tyson would train in boxing during the week and then come and see me at the weekend. I would always be so excited at the thought of seeing him.”
When did they get married?
The couple began to date and tied the knot in 2008 in front of around 400 guests in Paris’ home town of Doncaster – and slept together for the first time after the wedding.
“Even after we got engaged, Tyson would sleep in a caravan in the yard of my parents’ home, while I slept inside the house,” Paris says. “We didn’t sleep together until after we got married. That is the traveller’s way.”
How many children do they have?
Tyson recently announced on social media that Paris is pregnant with their fifth child which will be due in the new year.
Their first child was brought into the world in 2009 when Venezuela was born and she was followed two years later by her baby brother Prince John James. Keen to keep his name alive, Tyson named his third child – and second son – Prince Tyson Fury II when he was born in 2016.
The last of the current crop quickly followed when Valencia Amber was born last year. Fury also spoke recently for the first time about Paris’ miscarriage in 2014 which happened at the same time as his uncle Hughie was dying in the same hospital.
“I’ve never spoken about this before, but my wife Paris gave birth to a child at six months old that was dead,” Fury told the Daily Telegraph.
“I had to be there when she was delivering the baby. We were in one side of the hospital and my uncle Hughie was dying on the other side of the hospital, at the same time.
“That was the end of 2014, and I suppose I didn’t really think about it. I stopped myself from thinking about it. I needed to put it to the back of my mind.”
In August, Fury took to social media to reveal Paris is pregnant with the couple’s fifth child – and third son.
“It’s going to be a great year for the Fury household,” he said.
“We’re on holiday and considering we’ve had some great news and I’ve had a good fight, we’ve been blessed again – the Lord has truly blessed us again. We are back pregnant again, expecting our fifth child.
“[We’re now] 11 week’s gone and I’ve already got a seven-month daughter already.
“I’ve got four kids already, oldest being eight, youngest being 8 months and she’s already up the stick again!”
